Geo-Technics America Inc. (GTA) has an ongoing development program to create the most productive and efficient ground improvement equipment to allow GTA to complete construction jobs on schedule and at lowest cost.

GTA has the following types of equipment available.

For vertical (wick) drains

		Vibro-chain drive rigs combine hydraulic crowd pressure insertion and extraction force with vertical vibration for the most effective wick and E-QuakeTM  drain installation in difficult soils.
		Vibro-gear drive (patented) rigs combine vibration and hydraulic gear drive for a lightweight rig which will handle most soils. When used with GTA's Patented Sailboat Mast and pontoons, wick drain depths of 75 meters can be optained with a less than 5 psi ground pressure rig.
		Wick drain depths of up to 45 meters can be obtained using GTA's Vibro-gear Drive Rig, Sailboat mast and GTA's custom long and wide undercarrage!

For E~QUAKE DRAIN^TM drains

Vibro-chain drive installation equipment combining vertical vibration with hydraulic crowd/extraction force provides efficient installation of these newly developed drains for liquefaction control.
